Change: yes, it’s the one constant in the universe, but oh my, it doesn’t make it any easier! Even when change is for the better, it can be a challenge. Around here we’ve been working hard for the past couple of months to completely rebuild our website from the ground up! We wanted to create not just a new shopping experience but a hub of information for sharing our learnings and values with you, our customers, and we couldn’t have done any of it without your support, positive vibes and feedback.

We are a small company founded by Jul and a handful of individuals who care deeply about the future of our Earth. Everything we make and do is guided by a desire to heal - ourselves, you - our customers, our planet and all those creatures we share it with. We use only organic, sustainably-produced ingredients in all our products - whether it be our handcrafted garments, luxurious hemp-blend bed linens or Meraki skin care and hair-care products.

We’ve written about this important topic here, but we can’t really talk about this enough. The contemporary fashion industry has a lot to answer for. When you’ve seen the toxic blue puddles outside the textile factories (do you know how devastating mass production of blue jeans is?) and garment workers labouring under inhuman conditions for paltry pay, then you understand what the real price is that we pay for our ‘cheap’ clothes. You can’t unknow what you know and it’s so easy to get discouraged. What we also know, here at Mandala Dream Co, is that we can help drive change. Part of our mission is to provide education and resources so you can find products you can feel good about purchasing. We have no desire to become yet another huge corporation that makes more stuff to choke our landfills and pollute our air and rivers in the process. That’s why you’ll see lots of articles and information here about the problems, yes, but also about the wonderful small businesses, organisations, and individuals who are working so hard to make change happen.
